Key Responsibilities
- Assist with mowing small plant and lawn areas.
- Perform weeding, pruning, trimming, and hedge maintenance.
- Support the development of new garden beds and landscaped areas.
- Hand-pull weeds and control vegetation as needed.
- Maintain seasonal hanging baskets and assist with various gardening tasks.
- Work safely as part of a team to keep public spaces tidy, healthy, and visually appealing.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- No prior gardening experience required—training provided.
- A full, current driver’s licence; manual driving experience preferred.
- Good level of physical fitness to handle bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic with a can-do, hands-on attitude.
- Willingness to learn and follow health and safety procedures.
- Ability to communicate professionally with team members and occasionally with the public.
