Responsibilities
As a Florist, your key responsibilities include:
Floral Design & Creative Direction
- Design and produce high-quality arrangements for retail, events, weddings, and special orders.
- Develop and maintain the shop’s floral style, seasonal collections, and display standards.
- Ensure all arrangements meet quality, freshness, and brand expectations.
Team Leadership & Training
- Supervise, train, and mentor florists and assistants.
- Schedule staff and manage daily workloads.
- Provide ongoing coaching on techniques, customer service, and efficiency.
Operations & Inventory
- Order flowers, plants, and supplies; manage inventory and minimize waste.
- Maintain proper flower care, storage, and handling procedures.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage deliveries.
Customer Service & Sales
- Consult with customers on custom orders, weddings, and events.
- Handle high-value or complex client requests.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
Business & Administration
- Support pricing, costing, and profitability of floral designs.
