Responsibilities
As a Coffee Roaster at Campos Coffee, you will:
- Roast coffee beans accurately according to the required sensory profiles.
- Ensure all roasts are prepared on schedule to meet customer demand.
- Minimise wastage and maintain quality control standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow strict safety and quality protocols.
- Participate in regular cupping sessions and learn about coffee origins, profiles, and tasting techniques.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A strong attention to detail and ability to focus on repetitive tasks.
- Passion for coffee and a desire to learn the Campos roasting method.
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Physical ability to lift up to 24 kg (training provided).
- Valid Australian work rights.
- A collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
