Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and serve Arabic, Indian, and Continental meals for 30–100 crew members.
- Lead all kitchen activities including meal scheduling, food preparation, and presentation.
- Maintain stock levels, perform inventory control, and minimize waste through effective planning.
- Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, hygiene, and galley sanitation standards.
- Supervise kitchen teams, including stewards and cooks, and coordinate staff shifts.
- Prepare daily meal records, cost reports, and digital documentation using MS Office or Google Suite tools.
- Adjust menus for dietary needs, cultural considerations, and nutritional requirements.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate servicing or repairs when required.
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Chief Cook, preferably offshore or maritime.
- Proven ability to prepare Arabic, Indian, and Continental cuisines.
- Offshore rotation experience — willingness to work 6-month rotations for minimum 2 years.
- Age below 50 years.
- Good spoken and written English; ability to use computer applications for reporting and inventory.
