Position Overview
We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Auckland. In this role, you’ll contribute to a wide range of exciting land development projects — from master-planned residential and commercial developments to small-scale infill sites. You’ll work closely with the Senior Civil Engineer and a team of junior engineers, providing technical expertise, design input, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality civil engineering designs and drawings using 12D software.
- Provide expert consultancy services across land development and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients, internal teams, contractors, and external consultants.
- Manage project components, contracts, and resource consent applications.
- Liaise with local councils to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support Quality Management and Health & Safety initiatives.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and adhere to administrative requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying (BEng, BSurv, or equivalent).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years in NZ land development.
- Proficiency in 12D design software.
- CPEng or RPSurv registration (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong technical report writing, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers is advantageous.
- A proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach to work.
