Responsibilities

  • Roast coffee according to required sensory profiles and production schedules
  • Ensure consistency in flavour and quality across all roasts
  • Work closely with production and operations teams to meet daily roasting targets
  • Minimise wastage and manage raw materials efficiently
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational protocols
  • Participate in learning sessions about coffee origins, roast profiles, and tasting
  • Attend regular cupping sessions with coffee experts
  • Maintain focus and accuracy during repetitive roasting processes

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused during tasks
  • Willingness to perform repetitive work with consistency
  • Physical ability to lift up to 24 kg safely
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional paid overtime
  • Valid Australian working rights with no restrictions
