Responsibilities
- Roast coffee according to required sensory profiles and production schedules
- Ensure consistency in flavour and quality across all roasts
- Work closely with production and operations teams to meet daily roasting targets
- Minimise wastage and manage raw materials efficiently
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational protocols
- Participate in learning sessions about coffee origins, roast profiles, and tasting
- Attend regular cupping sessions with coffee experts
- Maintain focus and accuracy during repetitive roasting processes
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused during tasks
- Willingness to perform repetitive work with consistency
- Physical ability to lift up to 24 kg safely
- Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and occasional paid overtime
- Valid Australian working rights with no restrictions
