Responsibilities
As an Underground Loader Operator at Cadia, your key responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating underground loaders, particularly Sandvik 422i units.
- Performing high-speed development bogging tasks.
- Working efficiently within a rotating shift roster (day and night).
- Supporting underground mining operations in alignment with Redpath’s safety culture.
- Maintaining equipment condition and reporting any faults.
- Collaborating with site teams to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Demonstrating reliability and commitment to company values.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Experience operating a Sandvik Underground Loader 422i (highly advantageous).
- Proven underground mining or loader operating experience.
- Valid manual driver’s licence.
- Ability to work on a FIFO basis or as a local hire.
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and productivity.
- Willingness to start in January 2026 and undertake a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster.
