Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, feeding, toileting, and mobility
- Provide compassionate bedside care while maintaining patient dignity and comfort
- Monitor, measure, and record vital signs accurately
- Observe patient conditions and promptly report changes to nurses or supervisors
- Support safe patient transfers and mobility using assistive devices
- Apply fall-prevention and patient-safety measures
- Assist with basic clinical tasks such as wound care support and specimen collection
- Support catheter, bedpan, and basic nursing care procedures
- Follow strict infection-control protocols, including PPE use and hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
- Previous experience in bedside patient care within healthcare settings
- Knowledge of infection control and safe patient-handling techniques
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
- Fluency in English
- Conversational Arabic is an advantage
- Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant certification preferred
- Experience with hospital EMR systems is a plus
- Understanding of UAE healthcare standards is desirable
