Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all Health & Safety (H&S) activities within the facility
- Prepare, implement, and regularly update H&S checklists
- Ensure employees consistently wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Conduct daily inspections to identify hazards inside and outside the facility perimeter
- Report safety risks and abnormalities promptly to supervisors and management
- Maintain discipline and workplace harmony in collaboration with supervisors and managers
- Escalate incidents of misconduct or unsafe behavior to management without delay
- Assist in delivering H&S training, safety awareness sessions, and induction programs
- Record, update, and maintain incident and accident reports accurately
- Inspect safety equipment and tools, ensuring proper maintenance and documentation
- Manage first aid kits, maintain inventory, and provide first aid when necessary
- Participate in emergency evacuation drills and lead evacuations when required
- Ensure emergency exits and safety signage remain clear and functional
- Monitor high-risk activities and enforce safety procedures consistently
- Implement effective waste management, housekeeping, and hygiene systems
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by the department head as operational needs arise
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Mid-level experience in a health and safety role
- Mandatory NEBOSH or IOSH certification
- Physical ability to perform site inspections and safety-related activities
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations and compliance standards
- Willingness to work full-time on-site in Dubai
