Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on pipes, plates, structural components, and pressure parts following WPS guidelines.
- Interpret engineering and isometric drawings as well as welding symbols.
- Prepare materials through cleaning, beveling, and joint alignment before welding.
- Conduct visual inspection of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with fitters, fabricators, and quality control teams to deliver optimal weld performance.
- Execute welding in multiple positions (1G–6G) across various materials.
- Maintain welding equipment including machines, torches, and gas cylinders.
Job Requirements
- Trade Certificate / Diploma in Welding Technology or relevant qualification.
- 3–5 years’ experience in TIG welding within construction, fabrication, or oil & gas industries.
- Valid TIG welding certification (6G preferred) from ASME, CSWIP, AWS, or approved bodies.
- Expertise in welding stainless steel, duplex, aluminum, and carbon steel.
- Ability to perform GTAW root and hot pass welding.
