Responsibilities

  • Support the company’s Target Zero safety initiative through daily TALK meetings and prompt reporting of incidents and near misses.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives by working with Shift Managers to streamline and standardise operations across all shifts.
  • Uphold quality assurance standards, including housekeeping audits, food safety compliance, batch management, and pest control.
  • Work alongside Inventory Control to minimise warehouse errors such as shortages, over-deliveries, picker mistakes, or damages.
  • Manage stock handling, bin accuracy, import/export container movements, and stock adjustments in SAP.
  • Ensure efficient dispatch and storage operations to deliver high service levels for retail, commercial, and vending channels.
  • Maintain product integrity and respond quickly to store and supply chain issues.
  • Implement processes that reduce picking errors and credit requests through improved accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving and basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Computer literacy, including intermediate Excel skills.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high service standards.

Skills

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, picking systems, and inventory processes.
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving FMCG environment.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills to support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Understanding of food safety, quality control, or WHS procedures (advantageous).
